Terms of Service

By using the LeetChess extension or purchasing a Pro license, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension immediately.

01. Access Tokens & Licenses

LeetChess Pro is accessed via a unique Access Token provided upon successful payment. This token acts as your digital key. We do not maintain user accounts or profiles.

• Token Security: You are solely responsible for the security of your Access Token. If lost, we cannot guarantee recovery.
• Fair Use: Each token is intended for personal use. Excessive simultaneous activations may result in temporary token suspension.

02. Subscriptions & Stripe Billing

Billing is handled exclusively through Stripe. Your subscription grants you an active Access Token for the duration of your billing cycle.

• Cancellations: You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal link provided in your initial confirmation email.
• Refunds: We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. Refund requests made after 7 days are granted at our sole discretion.

03. Prohibited Use & Fair Play

LeetChess is a training and analysis tool. We strictly prohibit the use of our software to cheat in live, rated competitive play on third-party platforms (such as Lichess or Chess.com).

You agree to abide by the Fair Play policies of any platform you visit. LeetChess is not liable for any account restrictions or bans issued by third-party chess sites resulting from your use of the extension.

04. Affiliate Program

LeetChess operates an affiliate program that allows approved partners to earn commissions by referring new Pro customers. Participation is subject to the following terms:

• Approval Required: Affiliate status is granted at our sole discretion. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
• Commission: Approved affiliates earn a flat $5.00 USD commission for each new Pro license purchase attributed to their referral link. Commissions are only earned on purchases where full payment is received. Free trials, $0 coupon redemptions, and promotional orders do not qualify.
• Attribution Window: A referral is attributed via a 30-day browser cookie (lc_ref) set when a visitor arrives through your unique link. Commissions are not earned if the cookie is cleared, expires, or is overwritten by another affiliate's link before purchase.
• Payouts: Commissions are paid to the PayPal address on file every Monday. A minimum balance of $20.00 is required for a payout to be processed. Pending commissions may be held for up to 14 days to account for the refund window.
• Chargebacks & Refunds: If a referred purchase is refunded or results in a chargeback, the associated commission will be reversed. If the commission has already been paid out, we reserve the right to deduct the amount from a future payout.
• Prohibited Conduct: Self-referrals (purchasing Pro using your own affiliate link) are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your affiliate account and forfeiture of all pending earnings. Misleading promotions, paid search ads that infringe on our brand terms, spam, or any deceptive traffic practices are also prohibited.
• No Guaranteed Earnings: We make no representations about expected earnings. Commission rates and program terms are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active affiliates.
• Termination: We may suspend or terminate any affiliate account at any time for violation of these terms or for conduct we deem harmful to LeetChess or its customers. Earned, unpaid commissions at the time of termination will be paid out at our discretion.

05. Disclaimer of Warranties

LeetChess is provided "as is." While we strive for 100% uptime and accuracy in our pattern calculations, we do not guarantee that the extension will be error-free or uninterrupted. Service is provided without warranties of any kind.

06. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeetChess and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software or the loss of your Access Token.

07. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Flagler County, Florida.
