• Email & Account Info: Your email and subscription status for account management and Pro feature access.
• Puzzle Performance Data: Scores, solve times, and completion rates are collected to provide personalized progress tracking.
• Local Storage: Puzzle progress, preferences, and settings stored locally in your browser. No tracking outside your device unless you opt into account syncing.

02. Payment Information

All subscription payments are processed via Stripe. We never store your credit card or bank details. Only your email, subscription tier, and payment confirmation are retained for service delivery.

03. Browser Permissions

The extension requires minimal permissions to function correctly:

• Storage: Save puzzle progress, user preferences, and subscription status locally in the browser.
• Tabs: Open new puzzle pages or redirect users within the extension.
• Remote code (if applicable): Fetch puzzle data or updates for the extension. No personal user data is transmitted during this process.

We do not access browsing activity, credentials, or other data outside of the extension.

04. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services solely to provide core functionality:

• Stripe: Payment processing.

We do not share, sell, or trade your data, nor use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking.

05. Data Retention & Deletion

• You may reset or clear local data at any time from the extension settings.
• You may request deletion of your account and server-stored data by contacting us. All requests are processed promptly.

06. Security

All communication between the extension and servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS. Only authorized systems can access subscription data. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

07. Your Rights

• Access: You can view your stored data and puzzle progress.
• Portability: You can export your scores and progress by contacting support.
• Deletion: Request permanent removal of your account and all data.

08. Children's Privacy

LeetChess is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent and believe your child has submitted information, please contact us for removal.

09. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of LeetChess constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
